Oven Baked Vegan/Plant Based Oat Bread

So, I made a recipe for the bread machine but wanted to just try an oven baked bread.  I personally have a small multi-function and this recipe worked out great! I used a 9×5 loaf bread pan with a lid to make this bread. 

The recipe is fairly similar to my original, so test it out and let me know what you think of this yeast-free, gluten-free, vegan, plant-based, healthy, and delicious.  Please note, this is my second version of baked bread and it came out even more delicious!  This will be my go to recipe!

 

Things to note, I live in a high-altitude location, so please check your bread at 40 minutes to see if you need to add more time to the baking process.  

So without further ado, please turn your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.  In a large mixing bowl, add all dry ingredients first and then add the wet ingredients.  Note, add the water in slowly constantly mixing for the best consistency.

  • 2 cups – Oat Flour
  • 1 cup – Buckwheat Flour
  • 2 cups – Water 
  • 2 Tablespoon – Psyllium Husk 
  • 1 Cap Full – Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 Teaspoon – Baking Soda
  • 1 Teaspoon – Himalayan/Sea Salt 

Bake for 45 minutes, and if need, bake for an additional 10-12 minutes.

That’s it! When the bread is finished, let it cool and then slice.
